Jason has extensive experience working at senior levels in large enterprise companies including Motorola, JP Morgan and Credit Suisse. Jason has a proven track record of business planning, IT strategy, sales & delivery. In addition, he has dedicated more than 10 years to corporate innovation and 5 years working in early-stage start-ups as CEO, COO, co-founder and senior team member. Jason is a prolific speaker, thinker, innovator and connector in the RegTech space.
Co-Founder & Head of Client Delivery & Research
Sian leads our advisory practice and the research and content generation activities. Sian is a recognised expert and influencer in RegTech and financial regulation and was featured on the Innovate Finance Women in FinTech Powerlist 2018.
Prior to joining RegTech Associates, she was awarded a PhD from the London School of Economics. Her systematic research explored the challenges faced by banks in dealing with the volume and speed of regulatory change following the 2008 financial crisis. She has more than 20 years of experience in helping large financial institutions such as JP Morgan, UBS and RBS build their regulatory strength in response to regulatory requirements.
Stuart brings over 15 years of sales experience working at all levels in both large corporates such as LexisNexis as well as start-ups like Signal Media. Having sold into tier-one banks at top four consultancies, Stuart understands the complexities of enterprise sales and partnership management. Recently, Stuart has helped organisations expand outside of core markets by identifying and building new use cases leveraging existing underlying technologies.
Client Delivery Manager
Tom joins the team as Client Delivery Manager, with 9 years of experience in client-facing and revenue-generating positions across Legal and Financial Services, in both global enterprise and startup environments. Tom’s primary focus will be accelerating the adoption of emerging technologies in the Financial Services sector. This will include breaking down barriers to entry, overcoming known challenges as well as potential unknown hurdles, with the aim of helping firms meet the ever-increasing regulatory obligations they now face.
Previous roles span the core functions of Sales, Business Development and Project Management, most recently at Northern Trust as a Product Manager within the Securities Lending, Capital Markets business, where responsibilities included assessing the FinTech / RegTech market for potentially valuable solutions, followed by POV / POC generation.
Research and Project Analyst
Jack has recently finished a Physics MSci specialising in machine learning for Astrophysics. Combined with his degree, Jack has a strong tech background with experience in web & app development as well as scientific computing.
As a Research and Project Analyst, Jack will aid the delivery of client projects as well as help expand the technological basis on which the company operates.
Erik comes from an accounting and finance background, having worked in the technology space for over 20 years. He also has a strong business development experience with start-ups and financial services organisations.
Conduct Risk Expert
Emma is an expert in conduct and reputational risk with practical experience gained via various global investment banking roles at HSBC, most recently as Global Head of Product Governance and Conduct. Her experience ranges from technical regulatory requirements such as MiFID II, through to more operational aspects such as complaints management. In addition, Emma also specialises in programme management with expertise gained at JPMorgan and Deloitte Consulting.
Senior Consultant, with expertise in Financial Market Infrastructures
Lilia is an accomplished strategic Business Development Executive with a strong track record in defining and executing business development strategies and generating new revenues in competitive environments. Lilia acquired her client engagement experience through various roles in her career including Commercial, Product, Project Management and Marketing and Communication.
Annie joins the team as our Marketing Manager to help amplify our name, grow our audience and help our clients with their marketing efforts. Moving to the UK from New Zealand in 2017, Annie brings experience from different markets and has worked across a variety of industries including retail, sports clubs, professional services, membership bodies, higher education and now, regulation technology.
Kurosh Amini joins us from a Data Privacy and IT security background. He is also currently training with the Honorable Artillery Company British Army Reserves where he aspires to become an officer. He is a keen traveller and has lived in Spain throughout his childhood. In his professional career since his masters, he has been working with cloud-based products.
